Telling is a PR and communications consultancy rooted in creating thoughtful, mission-driven stories. We specialize in helping build lifestyle brands and elevate the profiles of innovative business leaders who are helping to reshape the world for the better - from scrappy startups empowering the next generation of female leaders, to groundbreaking brands and products that are perfecting the consumer experience, and beyond.


Leah Goodman is a seasoned creative communications strategist who is passionate about working with mission-driven and innovative brands. Her expertise lies in creating thoughtful, individualized strategies that work for her clients, including traditional media relations, messaging and asset development, exploring events and partnerships, social media management and more.

With nearly fifteen years of experience, she has developed and led communications strategies for some of the most impressive brands across a multitude of industries -- from tech and startups, to media, social good and beyond. Over the course of her career, she's been privileged to work with current and former clients including Helaina, Tilit NYC, early stage venture firms TMV and Aspect Ventures, NAMI, and The James Beard Foundation, plus she launched Netflix’s Ugly Delicious from creators, Chef David Chang and Academy Award winning director, Morgan Neville.

As a freelance consultant, she works with clients 1:1, providing strategic counsel in order to help tell stories centering around impact.  Leah is a firm believer in the power of great storytelling and received her B.A. in Communication Studies from Louisiana State University.
